Who are the Learning Ambassadors?
Student Ambassadors for Learning and Teaching are students who are appointed by the class and class teacher to work on projects to enhance the learning and teaching experience within the school.
Key roles and responsibilities
To attend fortnightly meetings with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
To play a strategic role in supporting the Leadership Team to develop the learning experiences of pupils in the school.
To contribute to the monitoring of teaching and learning in the class assigned.
To voice the opinions of the pupils in their class.
To perform monitoring activities and report on findings, as directed by Senior Leaders.
To write a yearly summary, supported by senior leaders, to outline strengths and areas for development within school to be shared with the Governing Body and Head Teacher.
To carry out tasks/projects that directly contribute to the enhanced teaching and learning experiences of their peers.
To develop and enhance a ‘Language of Learning’ in accordance with the schools policies and ‘Learning Journey’.
To be part of the Junior Leadership Team and therefore uphold the schools values and ethos.
