Our School

Welcome to Northlands Primary School & Nursery!

Originally build as a First School in 1932, Northlands became a Primary School in September 1996 following the general organisation of schools in the area.

The school is traditionally built with 9 self-contained classrooms. There is also an extra Year 3 classroom, new computers and laptops for the children,  a new purpose-built library and nurture NEST, a multi-purpose hall and two practical areas – one for Key Stage 1 and one for Key Stage 2.

Although Northlands has a limited outdoor space due to its location, excellent outdoor learning opportunities are planned as part of the curriculum and we use our outdoor space very effectively. Children are also frequently out and about in the local environment accessing learning opportunities at the local art gallery, library, Caldecott Park etc.

This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
