Northlands has a higher than average proportion of children who have English as an additional language (EAL). As such, we invest in a package of support call Flash Academy. This programme supports pupils to rapidly gain skills in the English language. 

In addition to this we have a specialist EAL support teacher, Mrs Bagga, who supports us in the afternoons.
