School meals

Dinner Menus

What children eat is an important part of their learning experience; health and progress stem from their eating habits which are established in their formative years at primary school.

Our meals are provided by Educaterers and prepared on site.  Details of the menus can be found on our website (letters to parents - 1st letter of the year) and in all classrooms. Menus are also available upon request from the school office.

Universal Free School Meals for infants

From September 2014 the Government has funded universal free school meals for infant pupils. Therefore all children in school years Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are now eligible to receive a free school meal from September 2014.

If your child is eligible under this new scheme it means they will be able to enjoy delicious, healthy meals. This also means that you will not have the additional effort and expense of making packed lunches every day. This equates to a saving of around £380.00 per year.

Key Stage 2 School Meals

School meals are available to children in Key stage 2 at a cost for £2.30 a day. Payment is to be made via SIMS pay. Please see the office for details.

If you are in receipt of any of the following benefits your child may be eligible for free school meals:-

Child Tax Credit but do not receive Working Tax Credit and that annual income is less than £16,109

Warwickshire Local Welfare Scheme

The Warwickshire Local Welfare Scheme continues to support children
and families who rely on free school meals throughout the school holidays.

The Warwickshire Local Welfare Scheme supports families at times of unavoidable crisis by providing basic and essential help. It is recognised within the Scheme that some families who are struggling financially, and are eligible for free school meals, have difficulty covering the period when their children are at home during the school holidays. This Scheme is therefore an opportunity to reach and help those most in need by supporting eligible families with the cost of food for their children over the
school holiday periods.

The Scheme will benefit those children eligible for free school meals as well
as their younger non-school age siblings aged 2 or above. This support will be available over all other school holidays.

The only eligibility criteria for this offer is that parents are registered for free
school meals.

Families wanting to apply for support through the Scheme should call 0800 4081448 or 01926 359182.
